Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. 

On Ash Wednesday, we commit ourselves to the 40 day journey of repentance, fasting and generosity. That evening we will receive ashes on our foreheads in the shape of the cross and be led into a meditation on the mystery of suffering Love through, music, scripture and poetry. 

The service is a moment of collective awe where we reconnect with our limitations and rekindle our sense of dependence on our loving creator.
